“All state agencies are fully engaged in Shovi efforts. I want to emphasize that the country faces no shortage of resources,” Levan Davitashvili, the Georgian Economy Minister, stated at the briefing following the cabinet meeting.
Davitashvili expressed his sincere condolences to the families affected by the tragedy in Shovi.
“We have mobilized all state agencies, and the resources available to the country are being employed to their fullest extent. It’s important to stress that we are facing no resource shortage for the time being. Nevertheless, it’s essential to recognize that when dealing with natural disasters, there are instances where certain events cannot be prevented. Regrettably, some circumstances are beyond our control. Even in developed countries, there are situations where individuals, systems, and entire nations find themselves powerless in the face of natural disasters,” stated Levan Davitashvili.
