Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission welcomed signing the EU-South Caucasus Green Energy Partnership agreement.
“The two shores of the Black Sea have never been closer. I’m glad the Romania-Hungary-Georgia-Azerbaijan energy agreement puts such a strong emphasis on renewables. Now we build stronger electricity interconnections,” she tweeted.
Georgia, Azerbaijan, Romania, and Hungary will sign the agreement between the governments regarding the Strategic Partnership in green energy development and transport fields on December 17.
