EBU webinar on a report: "All Things Being Equal." Moderators: Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Claudia Vaccarone
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has held a webinar on a report – “All Things Being Equal.”
According to the EBU, “the webinar provides an actionable roadmap and illustrate some of the successful strategies – from PSM organizations and thought leaders on the subject – that can underpin a gender-equal media organization.”
The webinar moderators were Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Deputy Director General of Georgian First Channel and Chair of EBU Gender Equality Steering Group; Claudia Vaccarone, Head of Diversity Programmes for Members of European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
The report – “All Things Being Equal” – has been produced by Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Deputy Director General of Georgian First Channel and Chair of EBU Gender Equality Steering Group, Tony Hall, Director General, BBC, and EBU President and Noel Curran, Director General of the European Broadcasting Union.
As explained by the EBU, the report – “All Things Being Equal” – explores the strategies that underpin a gender-equal media organization: workplace data and staff feedback to diagnose the issues; effective workplace policy to support equality of opportunity; and enabling a positive workplace culture through flexibility, leadership and behaviours to retain talent.
