EBU Director General congratulates Tinatin Berdzenishvili on election as GPB General Director

Noel Curran, Director General of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) congratulates Tinatin Berdzenishvili on election as General Director of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB).

Curran underlines in his video address that Tinatin Berdzenishvili is an active, important and respected member of the EBU. He claimed that during Berdzenishvili’s terms on the post, the EBU would help GPB with all the available resources.

“People know that last year she participated in a very high-profile gender project, which had fantastic outcome.  We are all delighted, and I have already spoken to Tinatin and said that the EBU will help Georgian Public Broadcaster in all the way it can in her term. Congratulations again,” Noel Curran said.

Tinatin Berdzenishvili was elected as General Director of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) on September 25.
