On January 30, at 22:00 Tbilisi time, the Eurovision 2024 draw will take place, featuring the participation of 38 countries.
As per the competition rules, Germany, Great Britain, France, Spain and Italy—the Big Five countries—and the host country, Sweden, automatically advance to the finals. It will be determined during the draw which semi-final these countries can vote in.
The drawing of lots will reveal the semi-finals in which representatives from the remaining 32 countries, including Georgia and its participant Nutsa Buzaladze, will perform.
Pernilla Månsson Colt and Farah Abadi will be this year’s presenters of the draw. They emphasize the draw’s significance as the starting point for Eurovision and its importance for future competitions.
The Swedish city of Malmö will host ESC 2024. The first semi-final will take place on May 7, the second on May 9, and the Grand Finale on May 11.
