Georgia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Levan Davitashvili, welcomed Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at the airport, stating that his visit “is a very clear support.”
“Hungary holds the EU Council presidency which emphasizes the importance of our cooperation with Europe, our European aspiration,” he said.
Davitashvili believes that cooperation with strategic partners is “crucial.”
“Georgia values cooperation with the European Union and its member states, thus the administration is eager to further deepen the relations.
We expect that this visit would assist in strengthening our connections with the EU member states,” stated Davitashvili.
