Deputy Justice Minister congratulates female inmates on winning

Georgian team of female inmates won the Chess World Championship. First Deputy Justice Minister, Tamar Tkeshelashvili congratulated the team members on the winning, the Special Penitentiary Service reported.

The championship was held online with participation of 23 teams from 31 countries.

The Deputy Minister visited the N5 Women’s penitentiary facility and inspected the infrastructure.

The prison has sports hall, a beauty salon. The inmates have the opportunity to master different professions. Rehabilitation-resocialization of the inmates is the priority for the ministry.
