Deputy Health Minister, private sector discuss changes in labour migration law

Deputy Health Minister Tamila Barkalaia on Sunday held a meeting with the private sector to review the upcoming changes in the law on labour migration.

According to the Health Ministry, today’s meeting addressed the legislative changes aiming to improve the legal mechanism for regulating labour migration and solve existing challenges.

It further explained that the said amendments would help legal labour migration while dwindling the cases of illegal labour migration, and trafficking.

The relevant draft law will be submitted to the Parliament shortly, the Ministry added.
