Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia has paid a working visit to the Republic of Armenia. Darsalia met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan.
As Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported, the sides expressed their position on a number of regional security issues. It was noted at the meeting that political and trade-economic relations between the two countries are developing in a dynamic manner.
In this context, the meeting of Georgia-Armenia Economic Commission, which will be held in Armenia in the coming months, was assessed as significant. During the negotiations, the sides also discussed the necessity of strengthening cultural and educational ties between Georgia and Armenia.
