Deputy Economy Minister: Georgia has one of highest economic growth rates in region, Europe
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Vakhtang Tsintsadze, reported that in October, Georgia experienced a significant acceleration in the rate of economic growth.
“Georgia has one of the highest economic growth rates compared to the wider region and European countries,” the Deputy Minister stated.
The country achieved a growth rate of 6.2% for the month, contributing to an average growth rate of 6.9% for the ten-month period from January to October.
Tsintsadze attributed economic growth to positive trends in investment activity, foreign trade, and tourism.
