Defense Minister visits Sachkhere Mountain Training School

Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani and Head of the Defense Forces Giorgi Matiashvili visited Sachkhere Mountain Training School.

At the briefing, Sachkhere Mountain Training School representatives familiarized the minister with the sub-unit’s objectives, goals and development plans.

The minister inspected the school’s infrastructure and the “army camp” organized on the territory. The camp hosted over 2,200 locals from Samegrelo and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions this season.

The project aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among the young generation and increase awareness about the Georgian army.
