Defense Minister meets Latvian Ambassador

Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze met Latvian Ambassador to Georgia Ingrīda Levrence.

The Minister and Ambassador discussed cooperation in the defence sphere and confirmed readiness to deepen bilateral relations.

Juansher Burchuladze accentuated the importance of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP) and Latvia’s contribution to the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) to Georgia.

The meeting also addressed regional security. Georgian Defense Minister thanked the Latvian Ambassador for the unwavering support of Georgia’s territorial integrity, state sovereignty and the country’s aspiration to become integrated with Euro-Atlantic structures.
