Defense Minister inspects infrastructure projects in Kutaisi

Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze inspected infrastructure projects ongoing at the Western Command of the Defense Forces at the 3rd Infantry Brigade territory in Kutaisi.

A new canteen was opened on the territory, engineering communications were replaced and internal roads and marching ground were arranged.

Approximately 360 million GEL was spent in the last four years on infrastructure renewal and construction, which qualitatively improved the condition of infrastructure facilities.

In 2024, for this purpose, 100 million GEL will be allocated from the defence budget. This year, 20 objects are being built and more than 50 facilities are being renovated.
