Defense Minister: Georgia NATO's important partner

The 8th Association Council meeting between the EU and Georgia, in Brussels was “the most important opportunity” for the partners, and members of the alliance, to learn more about the situation in Georgia, said Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani.

He claims that the remarks made by NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg show NATO’s support for Georgia

“Georgia is an important partner for NATO. Georgia has all kinds of tools and mechanisms to get as close as possible to NATO,” said Chikovani.
