Court of Appeal reviews election lawsuit regarding precinct results

The Tbilisi Court of Appeal is currently reviewing lawsuits related to annulled electronic voting results in the Tetritskaro and Tsalka districts.

This appeal contests Judge Vladimer Khuchua’s decision to nullify results from several precincts.

The Court has unified the lawsuits brought by the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association (GYLA) and the election monitoring group My Vote into a single case to be assessed by a consolidated panel of judges.

During the hearing, an experiment was conducted using a voting machine and cameras positioned three meters away to determine if ballot markings would be visible. The findings from this experiment are anticipated to influence the court’s final decision.
