Georgian MFA reports no casualties among Georgians in Istanbul blast
The General Consulate has no records of casualties among Georgian citizens in the Istanbul blast, the Foreign Ministry reported.
“For the time being, the General Consulate of Georgia in Istanbul received no official notice on Georgian citizens affected by the explosion. The embassy maintains close contact with local law enforcement,” the Ministry said in a statement.
On Sunday, an explosion shook a crowded pedestrian area in central Istanbul, killing six people and injuring 53 others.
