Constitutional Article referring to public information to be amended

Mamuka Mdinaradze, the chairperson of the faction “Georgian Dream”, say that the proposal of the Ministry of Justice will not be shared with the form that they have presented.

As Mamuka Mdinaradze told journalists, consultations were held between the ruling team and representatives of the Ministry of Justice.

“Speaker of the Parliament will speak on specific details at the sitting of the Legal Issues Committee. Finally, we will get the Article which do not damage the interest – neither the state nor the human rights” – he said.

The Ministry of Justice requests the provision of Article 18 of the Constitution referring to the request of public information.
