Coalition Strong Georgia unveils election plan

The coalition Strong Georgia has unveiled its election plan, ‘Ilia’s Way’, with a focus on EU integration, job creation, and pension reform.

Mamuka Khazaradze, a leader of Strong Georgia, outlined their priorities, beginning with a nine-point plan to accelerate Georgia’s EU membership. This includes initiating fast-track negotiations, re-evaluating foreign relations, and addressing legal issues.

Khazaradze criticized the current government’s unfulfilled promises, such as the creation of 100 factories, reduced utility bills, and the 5 million GEL pledge for each village.

He emphasized their commitment to creating 200,000 jobs, completing the Anaklia project, and increasing pensions to 1,000 GEL.

“When we come to power, our first action will be to implement a nine-point plan for integrating Georgia with the European Union. This plan includes initiating fast-track negotiations, re-evaluating foreign relations, and addressing legal and court-related issues.

Next, we will focus on creating jobs. We need to address the shortfall of 200,000 jobs for the country to function properly. We know how to restore these jobs and complete the Anaklia project and the construction of Anaklia city.

Finally, we will address the issue of pensions. The state must assure our elderly that they are not forgotten. A 1,000 GEL pension is achievable, and we are committed to making it a reality,” Khazaradze said.
