Protesters clashed with police in New York, according to CNN.

As reported, the latest demonstration in New York was mostly peaceful throughout the day, however, after the protesters began looting stores, it resulted in a confrontation.

The New York Police Department arrested 40 people during the demonstration.

The protest was triggered by the death of George Floyd in police custody.
