Citizens: Opposition to be engaged in parliament work in case of paying high political price
The opposition should become engaged in the parliament work in case of paying the high political price, Levan Ioseliani, a member of Citizens Party said.
Ioseliani responded to the question of journalists if the party planned to take into consideration the urge of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) calling on the opposition parties to take up their seats in the parliament.
The member of Citizens Party said that the international partners did not support the opposition now unlike over the March 8 Agreement reached between the ruling party and opposition.
Ioseliani also commented about the Parliament Chairman Archil Talakvadze’s statement that the Georgian Dream was ready to carry out the election reform together with the opposition.
“Many issues remain disputable over the electoral reform. The 70% of work is undone and the process has to be completed,” Levan Ioseliani said.
