CEC preliminary results for Tbilisi: GD – 40. 3%, UNM – 27.97%
According to the preliminary data of the Central Election Commission (CEC), in the proportional part of elections in Tbilisi, the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party won 40.3% of the voters, while the opposition United National Movement (UNM) – 27.97%.
The data from all the counted 769 polling stations are as follows:
Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia – 40.3%,
United National Movement – 27.97%,
Giorgi Gakharia – For Georgia – 8.85%,
Lelo – 3.63%,
Zurab Girchi Japaridze – 3.3%,
Ana Dolidze – For People – 2.57%,
Aleko Elisashvili-Citizens – 2.45%,
Elene Khoshtaria – Droa (It Is Time) – 2.15%.
Other parties secured less than 2% of votes.
Run-off of the October 2 local elections will be held in 20 out of 64 municipalities, as CEC preliminary results show.
