EU should react! Russia is seriously putting up pressure on Georgia. Air travel has been halted and import of Georgia wines stopped. Now also these serious measures – Carl Bildt, Sweden’s foreign minister from 2006 to October 2014 wrote on Twitter.

The former foreign minister of Sweden commented about the suspension of flights from Russia in direction of Georgia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has banned Russia’s airlines from flying to Georgia, a day after a Russian lawmaker Sergey Gavrilov’s visit to the country prompted violent clashes between protesters and police in Tbilisi on June 20.
