Budu Zivzivadze named best player of Bundesliga 2 opening round

Georgian national team striker Budu Zivzivadze has been recognized as the standout player in the opening round of the 2024-25 Bundesliga 2 season by multiple football websites, including Sofascore and Whoscored, as well as Kicker and BBBank.

In a thrilling match, Zivzivadze played a pivotal role in Karlsruhe’s 3-2 home victory over Nuremberg.

Analytical website Sofascore awarded Zivzivadze an impressive 9.8 points, while Whoscored gave him a perfect 9.9 points. Both sites included him in their symbolic team of the round and named him the player of the tour.
