British Ambassador presents copies of credentials to FM

New British Ambassador to Georgia Gareth Ward presented copies of credentials to Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili.

Following the ceremony, the FM congratulated the Ambassador on starting a diplomatic mission in Georgia and wished him success in his future endeavours.

The parties expressed satisfaction over the Georgia-UK strategic partnership based on Wardrop dialogue, which comprises a wide spectrum of political, defence and security, trade-economic and people-to-people relations.

The Minister expressed special gratitude for Great Britain’s unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
