For five years, the viewers will be provided by all the activities in connection with the Georgian National Rugby Team and rugby teams, – said Vasil Maghlaperidze , Director-General of the First Channel. Vasil Maghlaperidze and Gocha Svanidze, the President of Georgian Rugby Union signed the five-year agreement on cooperation.

“Big rugby is back on the First Channel. Something important has happened today for fans and spectators. Everybody knows what rugby means for us –it is our national pride. The Georgian Rugby Federation and the First Channel have signed a five-year cooperation agreement and the viewers will be provided by all the activities in connection with the Georgian National Rugby Team and rugby teams.  World Cup, Nations Cup, various important marches, a lot of surprises and important events will be broadcast on the First Channel.  All activities, all matches associated with the Georgian National Team will be on the First Channel”, – Vasil Maghlaperidze said.

As Gocha Svanidze noted, great and old relations between the Public Broadcaster and Georgia Rugby have been restored. “As for 2019, the spectators will be able to watch all the matches with participation of Georgian National Team in a high-quality “, – Gocha Svanidze noted.
