Bidzina Ivanishvili: Since the October 2012 elections, we live in country where people are no longer persecuted, fear of government is thing of past
“Eight years after the October 2012 elections, we live in a country where there is no need for fighting to gain the freedom, people are no longer persecuted for their different political taste, fear of the government and violence is a thing of the past,” said Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Chairman of Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia, while presenting the 2020 election program at the Expo-Georgia.
As Ivanishvili pointed out, October 1 has already been recorded in Georgian history as a symbol of unity, freedom and victory of the Georgian people.
Ivanishvili assessed the eight-year activity of the ruling Georgian Dream party and spoke about the ongoing developments in the country before the transfer of power.
The Chairman of Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia noted that today Georgian Dream offers people a program that should make the country’s democratic development irreversible, ensure economic progress, significantly change the lives of citizens for the better.
