Bidzina Ivanishvili and Ekaterine Khvedelidze express sorrow over death of Liana Isakadze
The founder and honorary chairman of the Georgian Dream party, Bidzina Ivanishvili and his wife, Ekaterine Khvedelidze, have expressed their sorrow over the passing of the renowned musician and violinist Liana Isakadze.
In their condolence letter, they extended their heartfelt sympathies to Isakadze’s family, acknowledging her immense contribution to the development and popularization of musical art.
“Liana Isakadze was one of the most prominent violinists of our time, and her contribution to the development and popularization of musical art is immense. Her performances were distinguished by artistry, deep musicality, and virtuosity.
The People’s Artist of Georgia, she was honoured with the Order of Honor and the title of honorary citizen of Tbilisi and Batumi, among other significant awards.
We express our sincere condolences and support to the family, relatives, colleagues, and the entire society in mourning the loss of Liana Isakadze,” the condolence letter states.
Georgian prominent violinist Liana Isakadze died at the age of 78.
