Batumi Court finds guilty 16 detainees of July 31 rally

Batumi Court examined cases of 16 individuals detained during the July 31 rally against entry of the Astoria Grande cruise ship with Russian citizens on board and recognized all the detainees as offenders.

The detainees will have to pay the fine in the amount of GEL 2000-3500 as per Articles 166 and 173 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

On July 31, civic activists rallied at the Batumi port to protest against the entry of the Astoria Grande cruise ship with Russian citizens on board.
