Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of opening fire in border zone, but Armenia denies accusations.

“On June 21, from 12:25 to 15:35, the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of Mollabayramli settlement of Kalbajar region were subjected to fire by the Armenian armed forces positions stationed in the opposite direction. The Azerbaijan Army Units took adequate retaliatory measures in the mentioned direction,” the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reported.

“The statement issued by the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan, alleging that on June 21st, between 12:25 pm and 3:35 pm, units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia discharged fire on Azerbaijani combat positions located in the eastern part of the border, does not correspond to reality,” the Armenian side responded.
