As strategic partner, China committed to improve Georgia's socio-economic growth, Ambassador says
The ambassador of China to Georgia, Chou Tsien, has mentioned the steps taken within the strategic partnership between Georgia and China, stating that China is committed to helping Georgia improve its socio-economic growth.
“We have provided financial assistance to the city of Gori to have improved social equipment around the city and in the village area. After establishing a strategic partnership, to support the Georgian government to develop local social and economic equipment is an important part of bilateral relations.
We also want to show our support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia. This is the basis of our bilateral strategic partnership.
During the Covid time, China provided more than 200 thousand vaccines to Georgia and the Georgian People. At that time, both the USA and European countries forbade the export of vaccines.
Also, China provided 1.5 million USD worth of aid to the Georgian government, including masks and ventilators during the Covid time to help you overcome the results of Covid and to reboot your economy.
As a strategic partner, China is always committed to giving our assistance and helping Georgia to improve its socio-economic growth,” the ambassador stated.
