Army City apartments distribution continues

The apartment transfers to soldiers at the newly-opened Army City have resumed this morning, coordinated by the Housing Commission based on the Lottotron principle.

The soldiers received 50 m2 and 110 m2 apartments yesterday, while 80 m2 apartments are being handed over today.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili opened the completed Army City project on October 9. He emphasized that cherishing soldiers’ dedication was the government’s priority.

According to the PM, the project will continue. He also reiterated his readiness to meet the commitment to refurbish military bases, improve infrastructure and purchase modern equipment for the army.

Thirty-nine 7-storey residential blocs with 1092 apartments were constructed for the soldiers at the Makhata Mount. The project was launched in 2020.
