Andrejs Mamikins: I am glad that majority of Georgian citizens supports country's EU aspiration

Georgia is a leader in South Caucasus region not only in terms of demonstrating the European Union flag, but in the implementation of the reforms, – Andrejs Mamikins, the rapporteur of the European Parliament on Georgia made the regarding statement.

Within the visit to Georgia, Andrejs Mamikins met Tamar Khulordava, Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration of the Parliament of Georgia.

“I am here to prepare a report on the results of 3-year implementation of the Association Agreement between Georgia and the European Union. You are a leader not only in terms of demonstrating the European Union flag in the South Caucasus region, but in the implementation of the reforms and making changes in society. I am glad that majority of Georgian citizens supports country’s EU aspiration”, -Mamikins said.
