Alexandre Dzneladze: All association member banks joined the initiative on debts annulling

Alexandre Dzneladze, President of the Association of Banks of Georgia states that all association member banks joined the initiative on problematic debts annulling.

According to him, a total of 13 banks are joined in the association and all of them signed the memorandum.

“Two banks did not have these obligations, therefore, had no meaning to participate, they just signed the memorandum. These loans will be sold to Cartu within prescribed timeframe”, – Alexandre Dzneladze said.

The financial liabilities of more than 600,000 citizens toward the banks, online organizations and other financial institutions will be annulled. Georgia’s Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze made this statement at the briefing on November 19.
