Akaki Zoidze – Legislation will become stricter to block so-called pharmacy drugs consumption
Akaki Zoidze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Healthcare Committee says that the government has to prevent risks of drugs consumption, and limitations have to be imposed against drugs consumers on driving rights, working as a doctor and being employed in public institutions.
According to Zoidze, there is difference in opinions among lawmakers mainly over amount of consumed drugs, terms of decriminalization and border existing between consumption and realization of drugs.
“Legislation should become stricter with respect to so-called pharmacy drugs consumption and selling of psychotropic drugs,” Zoidze stated.
