Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of the Ahali party said he views no unification or forming a coalition with any party but considers the consolidation of individuals by “changes.”
“We have closed this issue. There will be unification but the attraction of separate individuals in the coming days. We do not consider party alliances. We are the coalition for changes and if anyone wants to join, they are welcome but we will not join anyone. All political centres are already formed,” he said.
Jailed ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili said at his recent court trial that he would favour the initiative of unification of Ahali and the Unity-National Movement.
“My initiative from the beginning was for us all to unite. Now I return once again to the initiative towards the Ahali so that we can still unite. The bigger we are, the stronger we are,” he said.
