Ahali, Droa and Girchi-More Freedom parties united, Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of Ahali party announced at the joint briefing.
According to Gvaramia, the three political parties “acknowledge the responsibility before the country, history and decisive moment that define Georgia’s future.”
“We believe that commitment to our word, expressed in signing President Zourabichvili’s Georgian Charter and the application signed in Brussels concerning the struggle for common goals, is Georgia in the West, in the Western community, European civilization and ensuring a successful and safe environment for the Georgian population.
Giving the opportunity of happiness to Georgians is the utmost goal, which obliges all parties and non-party individuals to stand above our viewpoints, confrontations, and egos, and make such a decision.
Today, we unite to send Bidzina Ivanishvili’s government home, get rid of Russian influences and make Georgia a member of the European Union for Georgians to live in a safe and happy environment,” Gvaramia said.
Nika Gvaramia added that no agreement on unity was reached with the Lelo party, though “the process was not closed” and negotiations continued.
