PM thanks international donors for assistance to pandemic-hit to Georgia’s economy
Additional USD 1 billion and 500 million will be donated to Georgia’s economy till the end of the year – Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said.
During the special briefing, PM thanked the European Union, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank and several financial organizations for donation.
Prime Minister explained that the donations will be allocated to the state budget and various projects.
Gakharia also said that Georgia will be the first country, which will be able to agree on conditions to extend the program with the International Monetary Fund.
“This will mean additional USD 447 million for Georgia’s economy during one year,” PM claimed.
