Accredited journalists are not allowed to attend Mikheil Saakashvili's meeting with supporters
The former president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili will hold a meeting with Georgian emigrants in one of the hotels in Rome today. Journalists accredited to the meeting are not allowed to attend the session. First Channel journalist reports about it from Rome.
As reported, the organizer of the event Giorgi Sigua initially told the journalists that they would be able to attend the meeting, however later he informed them that they would not be able to attend it. Giorgi Sigua named the restrictions imposed by hotel administration as the reason for the decision.
According to the First Channel journalist, only cameramen will be allowed to attend the event.
The former president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili held a meeting with his supporters under the slogan “Together at Home” in the city of Liege in Belgium on February 10.
