34 inmates take Unified National Exams this year

I’m A total of 34 inmates, including four minors are taking part in the Unified National Exams to gain Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

According to the Special Penitentiary Service, ensuring access to academic education for convicts “is the priority.”

“For this purpose, the innovative project “Digital University” has been operating in the penitentiary system since 2022, which gives prisoners the opportunity to receive higher education remotely in an online format,” the agency noted.
