About 26 million bottles (0.75 liters) of wine were exported to 38 different countries during January-April of 2019.
The number of exported bottles exceeds the data of the same period of last year by 4%, reads the information of the National Wine Agency. According to the agency, the cost of the exported wine amounted USD 63, 2 million.
The sale of Georgian wine increased in the US, China and Poland. Increase of the demand on the Georgian wine is detected in Israel, Belarus, France, Mongolia, Canada, Netherlands, Estonia, Lithuania and Russia. The 179 wine companies exported their products.
