Legislative amendments on Criminal World to be presented at bureau session

The legislative amendments regarding Criminal World will be present at today’s bureau session.

The amendments prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs have already been sent to the Parliament. Legislative package consists of six draft laws.

The Government explains that the aim of the project is to develop adequate instruments to ensure effective fight against so-called “thieves in law”.

According to amendments, the payroll of activities, for which the so-called “thieves in law” are due to be held criminally responsible, will become wider. The persons, who will apply to criminal authorities for protection, will be also punished by law.
