Twenty-one prisoners, including one minor, are taking part in this year’s unified national and general master’s exams, Georgia’s Penitentiary Service reported.
“Ensuring access to higher education for convicts is a priority for the penitentiary service. To facilitate this, the innovative educational project Digital University has been implemented, making university education more accessible and enhancing the quality of academic education.
The Penitentiary Service remains committed to supporting and promoting the education and development of convicts in various areas within the rehabilitation-resocialization program,” the Penitentiary Service stated.
