20-year-old girl dies after train hits her in Tbilisi

A 20-year-old girl was hit by a train on the territory of Peikrebi Street, Gldani-Nadzaladevi district in Tbilisi.

According to eyewitnesses, the girl died instantly. “The young woman most likely could not see the train. She had headphones,” eyewitnesses told a reporter of First Channel.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia has already launched an investigation into the fatal incident.
