NATO-Georgia Commission to discuss country's progress in 2023, Foreign Relations Committee Chair says
We will participate in the NATO-Georgia Commission to discuss the country’s progress in 2023, the Foreign Relations Committee Chair, Nikoloz Samkharadze, announced in Brussels, where a Georgian parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili, is on an official visit.
Samkharadze mentioned that discussions during the visit would include threats from Russia, the situation in the occupied territories, and perspectives on NATO expansion.
“The situation in the occupied territories is very complex, and unfortunately, a Georgian citizen was recently murdered. Kidnappings also occur. We will address these issues,” he added.
