124th IPRM meeting held in Ergneti

The 124th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) in the village of Ergneti in Gori municipality discussed all significant incidents recorded since the previous meeting in the occupied region and along the occupation line.

The State Security Service of Georgia said its representatives “once again strongly demanded punishment of those responsible for the murder of Tamaz Ginturi.”

“The representatives of the central government of Georgia raised the issue of releasing all persons in illegal detention and strongly condemned the facts of illegal so-called borderization.

The discussion also focused on humanitarian problems facing the local population living near the occupation line, including issues related to freedom of movement and possibilities for resolving them,” the SSSG noted.

The participants agreed to convene the next regular IPRM meeting on 11 June 2025.
