The 102nd anniversary of the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan is marked in Tbilisi.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Dursun Hasanov, Embassy staff, General Director of SOCAR Energy Georgia Mahir Mammadov, members of the Azerbaijani Businessmen’s Union (AZEBI) and others visited Heydar Aliyev Park in Tbilisi and decorated the bust of the national leader with flowers.
They also visited the Pantheon of Azerbaijani Public Figures in the Tbilisi Botanical Garden and laid flowers at the graves of the founders of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan, Fatali Khan Khoyski and Hasan Bey Agayev.
As part of the events, a video dedicated to Azerbaijan was presented on a special board installed in front of the building of the Embassy of Azerbaijan.
In the evening, the Tbilisi TV tower will be lit in the colors of the Azerbaijani flag.
