Wine export up by 15%

Export of Georgian wine increased by 15% in January-May based on year-on-year data. The revenue from wine export reached USD 82.4 million, the National Wine Agency reported.

Georgia exported wine to 55 countries. Export increased to Poland, Lithuania, US, Estonia, Germany, Ukraine, Canada, Kazakhstan, Russia, Israel, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Sweden.

The top-5 countries are Russia, Ukraine, Poland, China and Kazakhstan. A total of 270 companies exported wine and alcoholic beverages.
