Weather to worsen across Georgia on January 18-20

According to Georgian National Environment Agency, the air temperature will harshly drop across Georgia on January 18-20.

Heavy precipitation is expected throughout Georgia. Dense fog, snowstorms, and ice on the roads are in the weather forecast in mountainous areas, while a 2-3 magnitude storm will hit the seashore.

Weather forecasters warn that abundant precipitation may cause formation-activation of land sliding and avalanche processes.

According to the Agency, the air temperature will harshly drop to  -4, -6  in west Georgia on January 19-20, that may damage citrus crops.
