Volodymyr Zelensky introduced a replacement bill on decentralization of power

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky introduced a replacement bill on decentralization of power and submitted it to the Verkhovna Rada.

According to the parliament’s official database of legislative initiatives, the explanatory note to the document said it was “drafted in line with the European Charter of Local Self-Government,” and envisaged a three-tier local self-administration system.

The Kremlin said the initiative should be analyzed.
