US-gifted Pfizer jabs to enter Georgia on July 24

The US government gifted half a million Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine shots will access Georgia on Saturday, July 24, the government reported.

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, who announced the Pfizer delivery on July 17, invited the population to show more public responsibility and actively engage in the mass immunization process.

“The only way out from the worsened epidemiological situation facing the country is vaccination,” he stated.

The Health Ministry decided on July 21 to allow the population aged 16 and above to Pfizer jab.
